Lucky Luke is part French. The classic Lucky Luke albums had stories by René Goscinny, who is definitely French. Morris, who still draws the comic, is Belgian. Incidentally, the little blue ones are originally Belgian, too.
It took me a moment to realize what I was supposed to be recognizing, but after that it was fairly instant. The only 2 I didn’t get were the non-American ones (#5 and #8). Very neat 
Great work!! You should hide the alt_image code, since otherwise it’s easy to fool the whole game.

Not exactly French, but Belgian. Very clever, once you get one, you go back to the others to figure them out.
