7 Commentsthe first photograph was taken in Buenos Aires after a soccer match, in which things got out of control and police had to interveene. It was a day of great violence and those two preferred to manifestate love.
photo 1 is from the Vancouver riots after the Canucks lost… strange to find it number 1, even being from near Vancouver too!
Man, this is amazing! I got 2 questions, what was happening in the first picture? or, what happened so those guys were kissing on the floor? wth, i don’t get it…. and what happened in the 4th? Loved all the pictures!
No 2 is Japan after the tsunami, No 3 looks like another photo I saw of the chilean volcano Puyehue (not sure if it’s there though)

Picture #1 is taken in Vancouver, and Jeff is right. Those who are local can never understand why that is ranked one of the most powerful images.
In regard to what happened in picture #1, the news said that girl got hurt and was in shock when the riot broke out.
