I work for a charity that supports people with learning disabilities. Because they look different, a cinema full of people with down’s syndrome might have the same effect as those bikers had on some of those couples. Me, I like bikers. And I like people with learning disabilities even more. It just wouldn’t make a good ad, though, would it? All credit to Carlsberg, though, for challenging prejudice with a good lashing of humour. I like to think I’d have been there!

@treefrog>>I’m not surprised, my home town is the end of a massive motorcycle rally that sees thousands of bikers come into town.. 5K at the biggest.. usually around 2-3K.

We’ve had one arrest.. for drunkenness. In seven years I’ve been here.

With that said, the average biker is a lawyer or doctor nowadays. I mean, who else could afford a new Harley..?

  • Erea says:

At 200 beats per minute also ask those who are harley’s hit by a car. :) ) I would take a seat without a doubt with my heartbeat explodes :)

We were all made in God’s image, even though that image may be a little rough around the edges, we should treat people like we would like to be treated and accept people for who or what they believe in. If all of us do this, there would be no prejudices, racism or war for that matter.
You would think that in this day and age, people on this planet would start respecting one another for who they are. Wake Up and do the right thing by one another. God gave us a choice and we are choosing wrong! He is not going to destroy this planet. He is sitting back and watching us destroy this planet all by ourselves.

this truly awesomw to see that many rough looking bikers in 1 setting god bless you for your effort in putting this on

  • Quentin Large says:

Loved it!! Think of two sayings – “Never judge a book by its cover” and “Judge not lest ye be judged”!!!

Whoever thought up this Ad deserves a medal!

  • Darlene says:

Wow. If I had only been out with a girl friend, I probably would not have stayed. To do so, would have have gone against everything that I have been taught about listening to your gut reaction, in any situation. However, what an awesome idea for an ad – well done!!!

  • Wobba says:

Having been in both worlds over many years, I guarantee you would be safer there than in a roomful of politicians

  • Debbie Drouillard says:

Very cool add.Goes to show”you can not judge a book by the cover”

  • Treefrog says:

Reminds me of the passenger lounge on a ferry as I was en route to a custom bike show in 1989 – the few non-bikers looked a little nervous initially but by the end of the voyage everyone was chatting as if they’d known each other for years! And their pre-teen children thought it was wonderful, climbing all over the bikers asking about badges, tattoos, etc, and being treated with a lot more patience and kindness than is usually shown by the more ‘socially acceptable’ type of adult.
